Hi, my name is Mike Cammarata... creator of the better bottle.  Thank you for your interest and taking the time to view our website to discover what is the better bottle and what makes it a better bottle!

 

Current OTC and Prescription pill bottle designs haven't changed much over the years and by solving a problem for myself... I hope to have also solved the main problems inherent in current pill bottle designs that virtually everyone can relate to.

 

I'm one of the millions of people who suffer from chronic migraine headaches.  My first line of defense consists of having a bottle of Acetaminophen near me at all times... which has historically made me the goto guy for pain reliever pills in every office I've ever worked in.  One exceptionally busy day at the office I had four different people come to my desk all saying the same phrase: "hey Mike... can I steal some aspirin from you???".   After the 3rd person I began to notice the other thing they had in common:  every person thus far poured a bunch of pills out in their hand, picked out two pills and put the remainder back in the bottle.  The fourth person was no different.   I thought to myself... thats kinda gross, they all poured pills into their hands that someone else previously had in their hand.  Now I don't like to think ill of my officemates, but lets be honest... who knows who just sneezed in their hand or didn't wash after using the restroom! (Or in our current environment... has Covid 19!)

 

Now... I wasn't a germ-a-phobe but this seemed a little icky to me after thinking about it more.   So of course I had to start googling everything from "how often do people wash their hands" to "how long do Flu viruses live on everyday surfaces".   Needless to say that was definitely a mistake!  People are gross and everything we touch is basically a petri dish!  The majority of people don't wash their hands and of the ones who do, the overwhelming majority don't wash properly to kill bacteria and viruses.  Our cell phones are a total horror show carrying more viruses than a well used portajohn at your favorite music festival!  Yes, I have the statistics and studies on the main page to prove it... go look, but don't say I didn't warn you.

 

Like every clicheic inventor I exclaimed "there must be a better way!" ... and set out to create that better way.

 

Fast forward a few years, a bunch of design concepts, prototypes, a collection of trials and errors later...  eventually gave way to an issued utility patent, spiffy website, loads of marketing material, and a small dedicated team with a focused mission to help others... the better bottle was created.

 

Not only did I solve the problem of creating a bottle that gets rid of the 'icky' factor, but serendipitously I created a bottle that enhances child proof safety, virtually eliminates spills, and may also help reduce the spread of germs.
