Why would I want my pill bottles to have the Pill Gate feature?

 

1. The Pill Gate allows the user control over the number of pills that can be distributed at one time.

When taking medication, most people pour the pills into the palm of their hand, take out the selected pills and place the remainder back into the bottle. This is not sanitary and can cause contamination of the other pills. Studies show most people do not wash their hands or do not wash them correctly.1  In our current COVID-19 environment, reducing the spread of germs has never been more important.
